Perform a test backup on Google Workspace

Please use the following steps to back up Google Workspace data using AhsayOBM.
- Open AhsayOBM and enter your credentials to log in.
- Select Backup Sets, click Add, then select Google Workspace.
- Rename the backup set and select Entire Organization.
- Authorize your Google Workspace admin account using your admin credentials and grant the required permissions.
- Copy and paste the provided authorization code. Then click Continue to allow domain-wide delegation.
- In the Google Admin Console, open the Domain-wide Delegation page and follow the instructions displayed in AhsayOBM.
- Add a new API client using the provided Client ID, or locate an existing Client ID in the Admin Console.
- Check that all required API scopes listed in AhsayOBM are included. Return to AhsayOBM and click Continue to test the connection.
- Select the Google Workspace users to protect. You can select all or specific users, sort the list, or use the Search feature.
- Select the Google Workspace data to back up, including Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Tasks, Contacts, Chat, and Meet.
- Select all or specific Shared Drives to back up, then click OK.
- Use Filter to include or exclude specific data.
- Enable and configure the backup schedule as desired. Scheduling backups after work hours is recommended.
- Under Destination, switch the backup mode from Sequential to Concurrent when using multiple destinations.
- Add your preferred backup destinations, such as Ahsay Drive and a local or network drive.
- Under Document Copy Destination, optionally add another Google Drive account for lossless backup of Google Workspace documents.
- Sign in to the Google Drive account.
- Grant the requested permissions.
- Copy and paste the authorization code.
- Click OK after the connection test succeeds.
- Keep the default AES-256 encryption setting and securely save a copy of your encryption key.
- Click Confirm.
- You may select Backup Now to start the backup immediately or wait for the scheduled backup.
