Backup Process

Back Up to Ahsay Machine

Back up your photos, videos, documents and 2FA accounts to AhsayOBM or AhsayACB machine.

  1. Register your mobile device.
  2. Open the Ahsay Mobile app.
  3. Go to Backup.
  4. Optional Step: Tap Settings icon to modify your backup source.

    • Tap Photos, Videos, Document and/or 2FA Accounts as the backup source.
    • Make sure to select at least one backup source.
  5. Tap Backup.
  6. Optional Step: Stop and Resume backup.

    • Tap Stop to pause the backup.
    • Tap Resume to continue the backup.

Back Up to AhsayCBS or Predefined Destinations

Back up your photos, videos, documents and 2FA accounts to AhsayCBS or Predefined destinations such as: Amazon S3, Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft Azure and many more.

This is a two-step process:

  • Back up from mobile device to Ahsay machine.
  • Back up from Ahsay machine to AhsayCBS or Predefined destination.

Follow the steps below to back up to AhsayCBS or Predefined destination:

  1. Register your mobile device.
  2. Follow the previous procedures in Back Up to Ahsay Machine to back up the mobile device to the Ahsay machine's local storage.
  3. Open AhsayOBM or AhsayACB, create a backup set:

    1. Go to Backup Sets, then click Add new backup set.
    2. Select File Backup as the backup set type then input the backup set name.
    3. Optional step: Turn Schedule On or Off.
    4. Choose AhsayCBS or choose from the Predefined destinations.
    5. Optional step: Turn Encryption On or Off.
    6. Optional step: Input Windows User Authentication credentials: Domain name, Username and Password if needed.
  4. Run back up job.

    1. Select a backup set.
    2. Optional step: Tick/Untick Migrate existing data to latest version.
    3. Click Backup.
