Symptom
When mounting a VMware ESXi / vCenter backup set Window 10 guest VM virtual disk using granular restore the following error message is shown:
"Falied to list file (the media is write protected.)"
Cause
This is a know issue with AhsayOBM version 7.13.0.x
Resolution
To resolve this issue, update the AhsayOBM client application to version 7.17.0.50 or above.
This issue affects a legacy version of our software. We strongly recommend upgrading to the latest AhsayCBS and AhsayOBM release (v9.15.0.0, as of 2025/May/15) for improved performance, compatibility, and security
