Symptom
Multiple Predefined Destinations (e.g. same destination name) can be created with the same name via the AhsayCBS console in the following menus:
System Settings > Basic > Predefined Destinations
Backup / Restore > Users, Groups & Policies > Policy Group > Backup Set Settings > Destination Visible to Users > Predefined Destination
Backup / Restore > Users, Groups & Policies > Policy Group > Preempted Values > Destination > Predefined Destination
Backup / Restore > Users, Groups & Policies > Policy Group > Preempted Backup Sets > Destination > Predefined Destination
Cause
This is a known issue with AhsayCBS version 7.3.2.0 - 7.5.0.6.
Resolution
Do not create multiple Predefined Destinations with the same name location.
To resolve the issue, patch the AhsayCBS application to version 7.7.0.0 or above.
This issue affects a legacy version of our software. We strongly recommend upgrading to the latest AhsayCBS and AhsayOBM release (v9.15.0.0, as of 2025/May/15) for improved performance, compatibility, and security.
