How to backup virtual machines on VMware Workstation using AhsayOBM?

Please use the following steps to backup VMware Workstation using AhsayOBM:

1. Log in to your AhsayOBM account.
2. Go to Backup Sets, click +, select VMware Backup, and rename the backup set.
3. Select the VMware Workstation version.
4. Enter the Windows credentials of the VMware host, configure the port if needed, then click Next.
   • Take note: Host is fixed to 127.0.0.1, while default port is 443.
5. Select the virtual machine(s) and/or virtual disk(s) to back up, then click Next.
6. Configure the backup schedule as desired and click Next.
7. Select Backup Mode: Sequential or Concurrent (recommended for multiple destinations).
8. Add backup destinations (when Concurrent is selected):
   • You may keep AhsayCBS as the first destination.
   • Add the second destination or multiple destinations (e.g., UNC Network Path) and enter the required credentials.
9. Click Next to verify destination access.
10. Keep the default encryption setting, save a copy of the encryption key, and click Confirm.
11. Enter the VMware machine password and click Next.
12. The backup set is created successfully. Click Backup now to start a backup job or click Close and wait for the scheduled backup to start.
