OpenDirect File Backup

OpenDirect is a unique and convenient recovery option available to file backups on Windows servers, PCs. and notebooks which enables the recovery of individual files/folders from large compressed or image files such as zip, rar, ISO etc., without the need to restore the whole compressed or image file. Powered by granular restore technology, it is used with installed applications to open compressed or image files.

OpenDirect will mount the compressed or image file directly from the backup storage destination as a local drive on your Windows machine, allowing full access to the contents within the compressed or image file. Then you can simply select any files/folders using copy and paste through Windows File Explorer or using the file restore wizard on the Ahsay backup agent.

The cost of your backup service will depend on two factors; backup data storage requirement and type of backup plan (File /NAS, Databases & VM, or Microsoft 365 backup plan).

A single Ahsay Managed Backup-as-a-Service(AMBaaS) subscription covers backups of unlimited devices or endpoints to Ahsay Drive cloud storage. There is no need to invest in additional hardware, set up centralized backup servers, provision storage, or hire experienced IT personnel to manage your backups.

There different types of subscriptions plans available depending on your customer requirements; File, virtual machines & databases, and or Microsoft 365. You can get started and have your backups running in a few minutes.
