Installation
  • AhsayRDR is part of the AhsayCBS version 7.
  • It is automatically installed when installing AhsayCBS, the redirection module is installed as part of AhsayCBS.
Apache Tomcat Version
  • AhsayCBS version 7 is bundled with Apache Tomcat 7.0.59
Java Version
  • AhsayCBS version 7 is bundled with Java 1.7.0_76

Manage System

Login Name & Password
  • System User setting is centralized for the entire AhsayCBS setup.
  • Settings can be configured in the AhsayCBS console at System Settings > Basic > Administrative Access
Host Name
  • Hostname setting is centralized for the entire AhsayCBS setup.
  • Settings can be configured in the AhsayCBS console at System Settings > Basic > General > Host Name
System Home
  • System Home setting is centralized for the entire AhsayCBS setup.
  • Settings can be configured in the AhsayCBS console at System Settings > Basic > General > System Home
Backup Server
  • Backup Server setting can be configured in the AhsayCBS console at Redirection > Hosting a Redirector > Manage Target Backup Server > Create
Enable Free Trial Settings N/A
  • Newly introduced in version 7. Administrator can now enable Free Trial Registration for the redirector.
Email System Settings
  • Email System Setting is centralized for the entire AhsayCBS setup.
  • The Email System Settings can be configured in the AhsayCBS console at System Settings > Basic > Email
Duplicated User Check
  • Feature removed in version 7.
Supported Languages
  • Language Settings is centralized for the entire AhsayCBS setup. Initially will only support 20 languages:
    • Catalan
    • Chinese (Simplified)
    • Chinese (Traditional)
    • Danish
    • Dutch
    • German
    • Greek (Modern)
    • English
    • Basque
    • French
    • Hebrew
    • Hungarian
    • Japanese
    • Korean

  • Language settings can be configured in the AhsayCBS console at System Settings > Basic > Languages
  • Supported languages (languages that will be supported in version 7) selected will be automatically migrated when upgrading to version 7.
  • De-supported language (e.g. language that was supported in version 6, but not in 7), they will be disabled automatically after the upgrade. For backup server with "only" de-supported languages setting, AhsayCBS will default to English after the upgrade (e.g. this includes the language used in all reports sent).
Software License (AhsayRDR)
  • In version 7, a paid AhsayCBS license with redirection module is required, charged per running CBS instance, and per device to redirect.
  • The license can be applied via the AhsayCBS console at System Settings > License > Backup
