- When upgrading from version 6 to 7, the Local Copy only Retention Policy will be removed and the backup set's Retention Policy will be used instead.

- There are also new installation restriction imposed for AhsayACB on version 7, only supports Windows desktop platforms (e.g. Windows Vista / 7 / 8 / 8.1). AhsayACB cannot be installed on any server grade Windows platforms (e.g. Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, SBS 2008 and SBS 2011 ... etc.)
- However, AhsayACB users can now create mulitple backup sets of the following Backup Set Types:
- File Backup
- IBM Lotus Notes Backup
- MS Windows System Backup
- Note when upgrading from version 6 to 7:
- AhsayACB installations on Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, SBS 2008 and SBS 2011 cannot be upgraded to version 7.
- AhsayACB installations on Mac OS X version pre-10.7.3 cannot be upgraded to version 7.
