How to restore your file backups on Linux GUI (AMBaaS version)?

Please use the following steps to restore files on a Linux GUI using AhsayOBM.

  1. From the AhsayOBM home screen, click Restore.
  2. Select the backup set containing files/folders you want to restore.
  3. Select a destination where to restore your data from.
  4. Check the Temporary Directory.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Select what to restore: Choose from files as of job or Choose from ALL files.
    • Default selection is Choose from files as of job with the latest version. You may select a specific version by clicking the menus next to it.
  7. Select the files/folders you aim to recover.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Select where to restore files to: Original Location or Alternate Location
    • If selecting alternate:
      • Click Browse.
      • Select another directory.
      • Click OK.
  10. Click Restore.
  11. After restore, open the original/alternate location and check if the selected files and/or folders have been successfully restored.
