How to install AhsayOBM on a QNAP NAS (AMBaaS version)?

Please use the following steps to install AhsayOBM on a QNAP NAS using the QPKG online installer through the Ahsay Managed Backup-as-a-Service (AMBaaS).

Create a Free Trial account for AMBaaS

  1. Go to www.ahsay.com
  2. Click the Free Trial button at the upper-right part of the page.
  3. Select the Ahsay Managed Backup (AMBaaS) tab.
  4. Scroll down and fill-out the registration form.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. Open the email you used to register for the free trial account.
  7. Select the email with subject Ahsay Product Evalution Request.
  8. Click download page.

Install AhsayOBM

  1. From the AhsayOBM tab, look for QNAP. Then, select the QPKG online installer to download.
  2. After the download is complete, open your QNAP NAS device.
    • Click App Center and manually install the obm-qnap-443....-https-54255O.qpkg.
    • Upload the package file and click Install.
    • Select OK to proceed with the installation.
      • Installation may take up to a few minutes depending on your internet connection.
  3. Once the installation has been successfully completed, click the Installed section from the Package Center.
  4. Launch AhsayOBM by clicking Open.
  5. Or go to your Synology desktop ad click the AhsayOBM icon.
  6. From the AhsayOBM login page, enter your credentials to access your account.
