CLI File Backup and Restore

This guide will mainly focus on how to create a File backup sete on Linux (CLI) and FreeBSD. For instructions on how to create other types of backup set, please refer to their specific module sections.

Screenshots (if any) shall be supplied as needed.

The following non-regular files/folders such as device files, block files, virtual files systems, pseudo file systems etc. will be automatically ignored if selected for backup. Backup log entries of these files/folders will not appear in the backup logs.

Example of such files include:

  • /proc

  • /dev

  • /sys

  • /run
